Meet The Team
Vickie deVos
Visionary/Founder & CEO
Vickie is the founder and CEO of a Group of Companies, Fleet-Tax Services Inc., iMVR and IRIS. Board Member of Crime Stoppers Niagara and past Chairman of the Hamilton/Niagara Fleet Safety Council. With 30 years of experience in developing the professional transportation industry with emphasis on safety, compliance, and enhancing driver skills. Growing up on a dairy farm, and her family in the construction industry is where Vickie lights up, knowing she is helping others by offering a hands-on experience, “it’s in most cases how we learn, simply by listening and watching”. Embracing her 2 children and 4 grandchildren with strong morals and many memories means the world to Vickie.
Rob Vanbuuren
Co-Founder & Head of Engineering
Rob is Co-Founder of iMVR and visionary of the SIM200 and SIM400. Rob has engineered and led the manufacturing of each kit. Rob was the previous co-partner of Poly Dome Ontario Group of Companies. Poly Dome manufactures and supplies plastic roto-molding world-wide to the Agricultural industry and customized designs. Leading and setting up each of their five plants and distribution centres with 200 individuals on his team both in Canada and the USA. Rob’s passion is helping others succeed, watching small steps create into accomplishments of positive results. Rob knows things take time, skill isn’t often obtained by trying things just once, it takes practice to improve. Rob values this not only in hands skill improvement but personality development. Growing up on and working within the family dairy farm is Rob’s roots. Rob drove heavy commercial vehicles while working on the farm for over 20 years, then turned his focus to create Poly Dome Ontario Inc. with his dad and brother. Stepping back and realizing that he finds joy in helping others, Rob knew it was time to pivot and put his values in his day to day life. Keeping an active lifestyle assisting his two boys and friends with landscaping and house improvements brings Rob fulfillment.
TJ Hewitt
Training Development
Transitioning from a commercial driver to a role in virtual reality has been an exciting shift in his career, merging his passion for technology with his deep-rooted knowledge of the transportation industry. In TJ's current position, he helps to design VR experiences that enhance driver training and safety. This innovative approach not only brings cutting-edge technology to the forefront but also offers a more immersive and effective way to educate new drivers about complex scenarios they might encounter on the road. In addition to his work in VR, he is an air brake instructor. Air brakes are a crucial component of commercial vehicles. TJ's background as a driver provides him with practical insights that make his instruction both comprehensive and relatable. By integrating real-world experience with technological advancements, TJ aims to improve both the training process and the safety standards in the industry, ensuring that drivers are well-prepared and knowledgeable in their roles.
Brian Fletcher
Business Development
Brian started his career in the printing industry after taking the Niagara College graphics course. He continued in this field for almost 40 years till the traditional industry took a downturn. Brian enrolled in the Second Careers program at Niagara College graduating on the Deans & Presidents list in the Sales & Marketing program in 2010. From there he worked for the Sheilds family at the Business Link Media Group and completed the 2013 Leadership Niagara program helping to launch the Niagara chapter of Cops for Kids. After they sold the publication he moved to Ownera Group doing B2B ad sales for both companies. With the slump in sales due to Covid 19 Brian moved to Employment Solutions to assist with business development. After finishing his time there he have found himself in a new industry at iMVR to assist in Business Sales Development.
